haven't had a shot of my favorite sagebrush lately....
and the wonderful combo of the ochre grasses & blue sky....
we beat stroller man into the park. saw him parking & unloading, we sped up a bit.
saw ginger & her owner, had a small romp. ginger always thinks she wants to play, but halle & echo seem to overwhelm her- even halle alone does... maybe in time...
had the "doesn't your dog like other dogs" question asked by a woman with 2 shepherds (probably belgian) and a papillon. we all passed just fine.
ran into a runner on chickadee who leashed her golden when she saw us leashing up- thanked her kindly.
dogs very good walking by all sorts of distractions- dogs behind fences, other leashed dogs, even the black dog with white in its chest (sound familiar?) who appeared above us off the trail in the on leash area. couldn't tell if it was with the runner (who could have been one of the women from yesterday, not sure) or just on its own. not even sure it was the same dog. regardless, we did a good job of walking on by- and he didn't bother us.
wish parks could run the sprinklers at the camel's back entrance at night. there's less evaporation then, it's really a better time to water. and it's nearly impossible to dodge them. at the very least, maybe they could be adjusted to not water the entire paved alley......
