wet again....

we headed into the reserve this am even tho it was damp out- it hadn't been raining hard or long & i figured that at the very least red fox would be good for a walk. i admit to wanting to enjoy chickadee off leash as much as we can before the rules change.

red fox was, indeed, fine. puddled up by the time we were on our way out, but the sandy soil holds up pretty well.

i got 2 steps up chickadee, watching the trail. when i saw that echo's feet had done this we turned around and stayed on red fox.

one thing i love about walking the reserve in the rain is the smell of the sagebrush. and it smelled wonderful this morning!
