what i found out today

julia from parks called me back, and here's what i know now: meeting May 7th is at 7:30 a.m. at the foothills learning center, and is to present to the Foothills Advisory Committee the recommendations. several of the committee members will speak to the FAC. the public is welcome, not sure abt public input.

there seems to be no contact info for the FAC. i find this confusing, since they have a pretty direct impact over foothills use, which many of us would probably like to be able to talk to people representing us about. in fairness, the Chairman's contact info was made available.

these are the Foothills Advisory Committee Members: Chas. F. McDevitt, Chair; Suki Molina, Vice-Chair; Thomas Baskin; Annie Black; Kipp Bedard; Susan Chelstrom; William B. Eastlake; Mitt Gillespie; Anne Hausrath; Ken Pursley; Shirley Randolph; Betsy Roberts.

as far as i can tell, the FAC can make changes to the current proposal. boise city council has the final say, but it seems to me that it would make more sense to figure things out before we get there.

i am still not quite clear on how much public input the FAC wants/will take or how many changes to the proposal they can/want to make.

no time set for city council yet, they will make the final decision
